Lloyd W. Peck, 81 of Scottdale (Upper Tyrone Township) passed away at 9:12 AM Saturday, December 31, 2022 in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Lloyd was born on August 4, 1941 in Rockwood, a son of the late Emory and Mae (Stom) Peck. He married Eleanor P. (Swank) Peck on August 16, 1966.
Lloyd was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was employed as a machine operator for many years with Modal Construction in Latrobe. Lloyd had a great sense of humor and enjoyed working on cars and hunting. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren!
Lloyd will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 56 years, Eleanor P. (Swank) Peck; his sons, Dave Peck and wife Kristina of York, Dean Peck of Connellsville and fiancee, Leigh, Dale Peck and wife Julie of Connellsville, and Denny Peck and wife Kristina of Markleysburg; his grandchildren, Natasha Peck (John) of Greensburg, Shawn Peck of Connellsville, Denny Peck Jr. of Markleysburg, Steven Peck of Connellsville, Aaron Peck of Morgantown, WV, Brayden Peck (Adam) of Nashville, TN , Jessica Peck of York, Jared Peck of Markleysburg, Breanna Peck of Mount Pleasant, Delaney Peck of York, Kasey Pierce (Johnny) of Donegal, and Michael Borris of Connellsville; his great grandchildren, Grayson and Garrett Schmidt, both of Greensburg and Kensley Pierce of Donegal; his sister, Carolyn Henry of Rockwood; his brothers, William Peck and wife Peggy of Rockwood and Ivan Peck and wife Janice of Grindstone; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Lloyd Peck.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET , SCOTTDALE
( www.fergusonfunerals.com ). Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Additional viewing will be held from 10-11 AM Friday in Mount Olive Evangelical Church followed by funeral services at 11 AM Friday with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Graveside committal service and interment will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family can be directed, in care of the funeral home.
