LEAH MARIE OWENS, 31 of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017. Leah was born July 23, 1986 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Camilla Jeanne "Cammy" (Graft) Crosby of Mt. Pleasant and the late William Bernard Lewandowski.
Leah was a devoted proud mother and actively involved with her children at the Valley School of Ligonier. She was a graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 2004 and enjoyed playing in the Greater Scottdale Girls Softball League. Leah also was a member of the Bridgeport Sportsman's Club.
Leah will be sadly missed by her loving family; her mother, Camilla Jeanne "Cammy" (Graft) Crosby and her husband Ira Edward "Ed" Crosby, whom Leah was very close to; her two children whom she adored, Gamin and Kiera Owens; her husband, Ryan Owens of Latrobe; her sister, Lauren (Lewandowski) Solosky and her husband Nick of Pittsburgh; her two special step-sisters, Jenilee Shultz and her husband Matt of Connellsville and Cassie Jellots and her husband Justin of Uniontown; her aunts and uncles, Rebecca Raymond (Stanley) of Scottdale, Regina Whipkey (Paul) of Connellsville, Donald Graft (Ruth) of Mt. Pleasant, Mary Ann Minsterman (Barry) of Harrisburg, Denny Graft (Bobbie Eutsey) of Mt. Pleasant, Doris Herrington (Bill) and Amy McKlveen (Mark), all of Connellsville, Marianne Riggar (Bill), Lisa "Red" Lewandowski, Elizabeth Lewandowski, Daniel "Axle" Lewandowski, and Margie Kern (Terry), all of Mt. Pleasant, Anthony Lewandowski (Renea) of Scottdale, Dolores Wier (Jim) of Greensburg, and Kenneth Lewandowski (Brooke), of Severn, Maryland; her special friend, Shaun Showman of Connellsville; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Earl and Monica (Campbell) Graft; her paternal grandparents, Edwin and Betty Jean (Weimer) Lewandowski; and her paternal uncle, Steven Lewandowski.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (724-887-5300 / www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends are invited to attend a "Celebration of Life Memorial Service" and fellowship meal at 5 PM Friday in the Bridgeport Sportman's Club. Final resting place will be in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church Cemetery next to her late father. Memorials may be directed to the family for the perpetual care of Leah's children. Love Lasts Forever!
