Laura M. (Perdikaris) Swink, 68, of Vanderbilt, passed away at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, in the Mount Saint Macrina Nursing Center, Uniontown. She was born January 26, 1954 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Harry and Lena (Prudente) Perdikaris, who passed away in 1997 and 2016 respectively.

Laura was a graduate of Connellsville High School, Class of 1971 and enjoyed homemaking and listening to music, especially classic rock, and Hank Williams.

Laura will be sadly missed by her loving family; her daughter, Lisa Swink of Johnstown; her three devoted granddaughters, Brittany Balchick and her husband Josh of Uniontown, Amber Murphy of Uniontown, and Tessa Martin of Indiana; her four great grandchildren, Savannah, Hailei, and Kaden Balchick, and Arianna Murphy.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 PM Sunday and from 10-11 AM Monday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday with Pastor Arlyn Satanek officiating. Chapel committal service and interment next to her late Mother will follow in Dickerson Run Union Cemetery. Memorial donations are being received by the family via the funeral home.
