June Lane, 78, of Smithton (South Huntingdon Township), passed away at 9:26 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, in UPMC, Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. June was born July 7, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Arthur and Sara (Brilhart) Leasure. June was married to George G. Lane, who passed away on Jan. 21, 2011. June was devoted mother, grandmother and sister. Years ago, she was employed as an operator at Bell Telephone and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending garden tractor pulling contests. June will be sadly missed by her loving family: her two children, Betsy Brown and her husband, Dave, of Greensburg, and George Lane Jr. and his wife, Becky, of Ruffsdale; her two grandchildren, Danny Lane and Jenny Brown; her sister, Celeste "Sis" Kineer, of Kecksburg; her brother, Larry Leasure and his wife, Shirley ,of Scottdale; and her several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Artie Leasure; and her half-brother, John Leasure. Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Jack Feick officiating.
