Joyce Ann (Greer) Stoner, 79 of Scottdale went to be with Jesus her Savior at 12:26 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Joyce was born September 23, 1942 in Norvelt, a daughter of the late Hugh E. and Evelina (Terry) Greer. Joyce married her beloved husband, Wilmer G. "Wimp" Stoner on September 1, 1962 and he passed away on December 30, 2015.

Joyce will be sadly missed by her loving family; her daughter, Cynthia Hixenbaugh and her husband James of Perryopolis; her son, Roger Stoner and his wife Susan of Scottdale; her daughter, Aimee Mitts and her husband Jason of Dawson; her four grandsons, Adam Hixenbaugh and his wife Marcy of Speers, Jordan Mitts of Oakmont, Sgt. Austin Mitts (serving in the US Army at Fort Carson, Colorado), and Jacob Stoner of Scottdale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Francis Osif, Ervin Greer, Ruby Weiss, and Mazie Weiss.

Joyce faithfully attended the First Assembly of God Church in Scottdale, was a woman of prayer, and lived a life of faith, love, generosity, and hospitality that is rarely seen.

There will be no public viewing. Family and friends will be received from 12-1 PM Tuesday in the First Assembly of God Church, Scottdale followed by funeral services at 1 PM Tuesday with Pastor Rebecca Luker officiating. Graveside committal service and interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs next to her late beloved husband.
