Joseph D. Gilbert Jr., 79, of Greensburg, passed away New Years Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Joseph was born April 1, 1939, in Buffalo, N.Y., a son of the late Caroline (Neely) Scott Gilbert. A kind-hearted person, Joseph was a retired maintenance employee with Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. He was a member of Alverton United Methodist Church and enjoyed preaching the gospel and singing. Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B.
