John Lee Phillips entered the arms of Jesus with his entire family by his side.
John was the son of the late Charles Milton and Florence Lovella (Oneal) Phillips.
He was the owner of the Phillips Country Store, where he enjoyed every Christmas with Santa's arrival and gifts for all the neighborhood kids. It was also the local bluegrass jam porch, with people coming from everywhere to play music.
John is survived by his loving wife, Iona Yvonne Phillips; his children, Carol Lee and husband Ron, Jason and wife Rhonda, and Lori Beth and husband Bill; his brother, David Eugene Phillips; his sister, MaryAnn Camman; his brother-in-law, Richard Henderson; and his sisters-in-law, June Ansell, Marylyn and Gail "Dolly."
Left behind to carry his love and faith are his pride and joy, his grandchildren, CJ and Melissa, Jonathan and Renee, Loren Felicity, Christian, Tori, Brendan, Gracie, Maddie, Alauna, Maria, Dakota, Charlie John, and Brantly.
Waiting in heaven to greet him are his parents; brothers, Charles, Donald, Paul, and Robert; his sister, Cork; and his best friends, Bob and Mary Lou Fisher and Bob and Nancy Ober.
