John Robert Halfhill, 36 of Scottdale (East Huntingdon Township), passed away at 8:18 PM Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. John was born July 8, 1985 in Uniontown, a son of Rebecca Jane (Fligger) Halfhill of Connellsville and the late William Arnold Halfhill, who passed away on October 5, 2017. He married Crystal L. (Durdevich) Halfhill on September 26, 2017.


John was a devoted husband and father. John loved the Lord and strived to be the man the God called him to be & to raise his children to love the Lord. He taught his children how to to be there brothers keeper and love his wife like Christ loved the church.  He was employed as a journeyman lineman with the IEBW, Local #126, working with Thompson Electric, Monroe Falls, OH. Previously he was employed with CW Wright. He held memberships with East Huntingdon Sportsman's Association and the RuffsDale Gun Club and took enjoyment in hunting , fishing and trap shooting.


John will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of four years, Crystal L. (Durdevich) Halfhill; .and their six children Vince, Alyssa, Isaiah, Anthony, Taylor and Gianna. His 5 sisters, 5 brothers, several nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews & parents

Family and friends will be received from 10AM - 1PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday with Pastor Stuart Adams officiating.
