John Charles Eckenroad, 55, of Everson, passed away at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, in the Harmon House Convalescent Center, Mt. Pleasant. John was born Oct. 16, 1960, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Margaret A. (Collins) Eckenroad, of Everson, and the late George R. "Ronnie" Eckenroad, who passed away on Dec. 16, 2015. John married the former Christina Lynn Means on Aug. 6, 2005. John was devoted husband, son, father, brother and uncle. He was employed as a graphic artist with Graphic Images in Connellsville and was a faithful and dedicated member of the Everson Evangelical Church where he was youth leader and conducted the gym night program. John graduated from Southmoreland High School, class of 1978, and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. John will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 10 years, Christina Lynn (Means) Eckenroad; his two children, Joel and Eli Eckenroad; his mother, Margaret A. (Collins) Eckenroad, of Everson; his two sisters, Cynthia Poorbaugh and her husband, Scott, of Scottdale, and Jodi Lynn Ramsey and her husband, Ronald, of Acme; his brother, George Ronald Eckenroad Jr. and his wife, Jasmine, of Morgantown, W.Va.; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
