Jessica L. Hardik-Stewart, 50

of Grapeville (formerly of Scottdale) passed away at 1:02 AM Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at her residence. Jessica was born on September 12, 1974 in Mount Pleasant, a daughter of Deborah L. (Malik) Mellinger and the late Andrew M. Hardik Jr., who passed away in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Hillary Daniels and Megan Hardik.

Jessica was a devoted daughter, spouse, mother, and grandmother. She graduated from Connellsville Area High School, Class of 1992 and was employed in the maintenance and cleaning industry. Jessica enjoyed Diamond Art, Garfield, and her two pet felines, Zeni and Prissy.

Jessica will be sadly missed by her loving family; her spouse of 20 years, Shane Stewart of Grapeville; her mother, Deborah (Malik) Mellinger and her husband George of Norvelt; her son, Caleb Hardik and his wife Kelly and their son, Ryan Hardik of Everson; her brother, Andrew M. Hardik III and his wife Amanda of Mount Pleasant; her niece, Lilly Hardik; and her three nephews, Marc Daniels Jr.,  Nicholas Nimick-Daniels, and Andrew M. Hardik IV.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday and from 10-11 AM Friday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday with Pastor Rob Rosenbaum officiating.
