Jesse Jones III of Alverton, passed away suddenly early Saturday morning, January 23, 2021. Jesse was born November 10, 1958 in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late Jesse Jones Jr. and Nancy (Roadman) Jones, who passed away January 17, 1971 and November 23, 2019 respectively. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Terri Ann Jones in 1962.

Jesse grew up in a small area called Pinetree in Scottdale and love to play softball with his siblings and neighborhood friends. He was also a hunter and loved to ride his Gold Wing Motorcycle and his quad. Jesse's hobbies included collecting bottle openers and Hallmark ornaments. He loved riding in the mountains and hunting with his brothers. Jesse was employed for 22 years by Cenveo Inc. of Mount Pleasant as a machine adjuster.

Jesse will be sadly missed by all of his loving family; his siblings, Jennie Odroneic and husband Mark of Scottdale, Kathy Schmuck and husband Ron of Scottdale, Shawn Jones and wife Bobbie (Santmyer) of Dawson, Tim Jones and wife Kendra (Keller) of Scottdale, Dannie Jones and wife Kim (Hodgkiss) of Scottdale, and Jamie Jones and wife Tracy (Tkach) of Scottdale; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and his aunts, Faye Suhan of Alverton and Patty Swank of Smithton.
