Gerald W. "Jerry" and Betty L. (Pirl) Kuhns (formerly of Scottdale).

Gerald W. "Jerry" Kuhns, 89 was born July 11, 1931 and passed away on November 10, 2020. He was a son of the late Charles M. And Millicent (Weaver) Kuhns and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a loyal member of the Scottdale Volunteer Fire Department for 53 years.

Betty L. (Pirl) Kuhns, 88 was born May 30, 1935 and passed away on January 3, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Donald and Garnett Pirl and shared her love of books and knowledge with countless individuals as a Librarian for many years.

Jerry and Betty will be sadly missed by their loving family; their daughter Sherrie Braidic and husband Edward of Southport, NC; their two granddaughters, Julie Lynn Fisher and Lyndsey Lee Mandley; and their six great grandchildren, Everett, Maddex, Mason, Stella, Willow, and Aubree. In addition to their parents, they were preceded in death by their daughter, Terri Lynn Daugherty (4/28/2018); their son-in-law, Donald D. Daugherty (10/15/2020); and their great grandson, Carter E. Mandley (10/13/2016).

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside inurnment service Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11 AM in Scottdale Cemetery with Pastor Tom Shirer officiating. "To Live in Hearts we leave behind, is not to Die"
