Jeffrey A. Wildey, 54, of Ruffsdale (South Huntingdon Township), passed away at 3 p.m. Wednesday June 29, 2022, in Armstrong Memorial Hospital, Kittanning. Jeff was born April 26, 1968, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Jacob Charles and Anna Catherine (Kuhns) Wildey. He married Vickie L. (Gibbs) Wildey on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 2007. Jeff was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was self-employed in the flooring and construction business, and years ago worked with Pecora Flooring. Growing up in Pennsville, he was active with Pennsville United Methodist Church. Jeff graduated from Connellsville High School, Class of 1986, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an outdoorsman and took pleasure in restoring cars. Jeff will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 15 years, Vickie L. (Gibbs) Wildey; his four stepchildren, whom he loved as his own, Michael Gibbs, Jennifer Thorpe (Kenny), Amanda Pyeritz (Kurt) and Stephanie Grindle (Charles "Bobby"); his 11 grandchildren; his eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Cathy Wildey; his three brothers, Gerald Wildey (Lynda), Dave Wildey (Lee Ann) and Edward Wildey (Stacy); his half-sister, Joann Nash; numerous nieces and nephews; his loyal pet dog, Molly; and pet cat, Dink. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Jeffrey Corteal; his stepgranddaughter, Megan Shipley; his sister, Carolyn Armstrong; his brother, Butch Wildey; and his nephew, Robert Joseph Wildey.
