Jeffrey L. Crouse, Sr. 55 of Mt. Pleasant passed away at 3 pm Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Jeff was born October 9, 1960 in Connellsville, a son of the late Gleason and Alice (Fosbrink) Crouse. Jeff was married to the former Nellie E. Murphy.
Jeff was employed as a distribution driver with the Tribune Review for 26 years and worked for many years at Valley Dairy in Connellsville. He was a member of the Albright United Methodist Church in Connellsville, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and throwing horseshoes.
Jeff will be sadly missed by his loving family; his devoted wife, Nellie E. "Nell" (Murphy) Crouse; his three sons, Jeffrey L. Crouse, Jr. of Dunbar, Adam Crouse of Mon City, and Charles Crouse of Mt. Pleasant; his three grandchildren, Hannah, Nancy, and Ethan; his sister, Catherine Clark and her husband Gary of Kittanning; his two brothers, Daniel Crouse and his wife Rebecca of Scottdale and John Crouse of Kittanning; numerous nieces and nephews; and his loyal pet canine, Dumbo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Riggin.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the Robert B. Family and friends will be received from 2-6 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 6 PM Friday with Pastor Terry Upton officiating.
