Jeffrey "Jeff" Christner, 66, of Connellsville, passed away Monday morning, April 30, 2018, in AGHS West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Jeff was born Aug. 13, 1951, in Connellsville, a son of the late Duane and Jessie (Warick) Christner.

Jeff was a gentle person and a devoted father, grandfather, and brother. He was employed for over 15 years as a trackman with the former B&O Railroad (CSX). He was a graduate of Connellsville High School, Class of 1970 and enjoyed the railroad, motorcycles, music, and his family.

Jeff will be sadly missed by his loving family: his three children, Rose Marie Allshouse of Vanderbilt and her boyfriend Keith, Michael Allshouse and wife Wendy of North Carolina, and Michelle Burton and husband Hannibal of Miami, Fla.; his seven grandchildren, Seth, Tyler, Hannah, Zachary, Kaia, MacKenzie, and Noah; his special companion, Pauline Allshouse; his twin brother, Scott Christner and wife Shirley of Dawson; his three sisters, Janice Harvey and husband Paul of Juniata, Jennifer Christner and Kathy Christner, both of Dawson; his pet canine, Callie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Jessica Clark, Lyric Allshouse, and William Clark.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the Ralph E. Galley Funeral Home, 501 Railroad St., Dawson, 724- 529-2611, www.fergusonfunerals.com. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Friday, the hour of service, in the funeral home chapel.

Final resting place will be in Dickerson Run Cemetery.
