Janet L. Swank, 69, of Scottdale, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, in Scottdale Manor & Rehabilitation Center, Scottdale. Janet was born May 19, 1946, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late James Allen and Elsie Gladys (Seehoffer) Swank. Janet was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Scottdale where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed watching TV, singing gospel songs, traveling, music and coloring. Janet will be sadly missed by her loving family; her six siblings, Ronald and Harold Swank, of Dawson, James Swank, of Interlachen, Fla., Donald Swank and his wife, Susan, of Scottdale, Betty Leasher, of Mt. Pleasant, and Gwen Marie Kersten, of Dawson; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Swank; and her sister, Patricia Swank.
