Jamie Z. Jones, 54, of Scottdale, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Aug.16, 2021, in Twin Lakes Rehabilitation Center, Hempfield Township, where he lost his battle with lung cancer. He was born Nov. 26, 1967, in Latrobe, a son of the late Jesse and Nancy (Roadman) Jones Jr., who passed away on Jan. 17, 1971, and Nov. 23, 2019, respectively. He was married to Tracy L. (Tkach) Jones for over 30 years.

Jamie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard sales, flea markets, and watching game shows.

Jamie will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of over 30 years, Tracy L. (Tkach) Jones; his sons, Cody and Nathan Jones; his granddaughter, Ariana Jones; his step-grandson, Landyn Santmyer; his siblings, Jennie Odroneic and husband Mark of Scottdale, Kathy Schmuck and husband Ron of Scottdale, Shawn Jones and wife Bobbie ( Santmyer) of Dawson, Tim Jones and wife Kendra (Keller) of Scottdale, and Dannie Jones and wife Kim (Hodgkiss) of Scottdale; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Terri Ann Jones (1962); and his brother, Jesse Jones III (2021).
