Obituary

James Dzambo, 73, of Everson, passed away at 10:57 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Jim was born March 22, 1949, in Everson, a son of the late Peter and Mary (Wesolowski) Dzambo. He was married to Pamela S. (Allegro) Dzambo, who passed away on Jan. 21, 2019.

Jim was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. A veteran, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army along with service in the Army Reserves, and duty with the Pennsylvania National Guard. Jim was a member of the Polish American Club (PAK) and the VFW Hamilton-Maloy Post #595, both in Everson. He enjoyed golfing, polka music, times spent with his family, and baking. His other pastimes were sitting on his porch swing, drinking his Stoney's, smoking a cigar, drinking Old Overholt with his buddy Jan, and listening to polkas. He also took pleasure in attending senior meetings, playing in his band, "Swift Decisions," and going to polka dances with his late wife, Pam. Jim also liked when parties were thrown especially when the grandkids would have friends over with their little ones.

Jim will be sadly missed by his loving family, his children, Kristin Morvosh and husband Scott and their children, Julia and Delaynie Morvosh, Kim Black and husband Brian and their son, Zachary (Gabriella) and their children, Charlotte, and Taylor Black, James Dzambo Jr. "Jimmy" and wife Aimee and their children, Alexis (fiancé Tommy Deason), Cydnee Dennis (Malik), and Shelby Aaron, and Daniel Dzambo "Digger" and wife Erin and their children, Daniel and Gavin; his siblings: Barbara Dzambo, Mary Ann Vinzani, Allen Dzambo (Betty), Debbie Stolarik, Peter Dzambo, John Dzambo (Bonnie), George Dzambo (Cathy), and Cindy Lewis (Scott); numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends who he has been having so much fun with, Marie Jones & the York gang, Barry and Lisa Grabiak, Michael Tamblyn, and Larry Arison.
