Howard J. Argot, 65 of Dawson (Lower Tyrone Township), passed away at 12:39 AM Sunday, October 6, 2019 in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Howard was born December 7, 1953 in East Stroudsburg, a son of the late Lloyd John and Sophia Arlene Henrietta (Smith) Argot. He married Lana Kay (Beehler) Argot on November 27, 1973.

Howard was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was previously employed as a truck driver with M&G Convoy and Allied Services. Along with his wife Lana, they attended the Bryan United Methodist Church. Howard was a member of the Bridgeport and Hecla Sportsmen's and enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and gardening. He was also a member of the Local Teamsters Union.

Howard will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 45 years, Lana Kay (Beehler) Argot; his daughter, Rachel Argot of Jeannette; his son, Jay Argot and his wife Monica of Dawson; his two grandchildren, Ethan and Evan; his sister, Lloyalann Robertson and her husband Robbie of Cresco; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful canines, Toby and Gizmo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Thomas and John Argot.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH E. GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (724-529-2611 / www.fergusonfunerals.com). At Howard's request, there will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Friday, October 25th at the Bryan United Methodist Church with Pastor Ed Sutton officiating. A fellowship meal will follow at 4 pm in Brownfield Community Center. Memorials may be made to the Church in Howard's memory. Love Lasts Forever!
