Harry M. Leasure, 92

of Dawson passed away at 8:46 AM on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2025 in Independence Health System's Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Harry was born the 1st of December, 1932 in Connellsville, a son of the late Raymond B. and Flora Mae (Joseph) Leasure. He was married to Doris A. (Campbell) Leasure, who passed away in 1997.

Harry was retired from US Steel - Irvin Works in West Mifflin with 40 years service, serving in the Cold Reduction department. He was a longtime member of the Bryan United Methodist Church and a member of the former Hamilton-Malloy VFW, Post #7781 in Scottdale.

A veteran of the Korean War, he served honorably in the US Army.


Harry will be sadly missed by his loving family; his son, Harry M. "Mack" Leasure, Jr. of Dawson; and his grandson, Jeremy Leasure of Connellsville. In addition to his parents and wife, Harry was preceded in death by his son, Mark E. Leasure in 1988; his sister, Margaret Reynolds; and his brother, Raymond B. "RB" Leasure, Jr.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 4-8 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel followed by funeral services to be held at 8 PM Wednesday with Chaplain Bruno Ansell officiating. Final resting place will be in Cochran Cemetery. Love Lasts Forever!
