Harold D. Williams, 73, formerly of Scottdale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 in Oak Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Greensburg. He was born September 4, 1951, in Enid, OK, a son of the late John Williams and Elsie Mae Weber Ryan.
Harold's life was defined by his unwavering love and kindness, a generous spirit that touched all who knew him. His quick wit and mischievous grin were legendary, a testament to his delightful sense of humor. His strong work ethic, a legacy instilled in his children, was evident throughout his career with Schwan's Ice Cream, first in Parsons, Kansas, and later in Scottdale, Pennsylvania.  His leisure time was filled with joy, whether hunting, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, or engaging in cowboy action shooting with his brother, John.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His faith was an important part of his life, and he attended St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Latrobe with his son, Rob, and daughter-in-law, Michele.
Harold is survived by his two sons, Robert J. "Rob" Williams (Michele) and Scott Williams (Silvana); his daughter, Kimberly Cramer (Jason); his six grandchildren, Kaylee (Alex), Chelsea (Nick), Gabrielle, Christian Tyler (Arianna), Gianna, and Pacey Alan (Kaylee); and his great-granddaughter, Makenzie. He is also survived by his two sisters, Linda Swart and Geneva Batchelder; brother, Joseph Williams.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife and best friend of 43 years, Barbara K. (Goodpasture) Williams, who passed away on June 14, 2015; and his brother, John David.
Friends and family will be received Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring St., Scottdale (724) 887-5300,www.fergusonfunerals.com, where a funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Mark A. Werner officiating.
A private graveside committal service and interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery.
