Gregory E. Maceyko, 58, of Connellsville, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. Greg was born on December 26, 1957 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Rudolph W. and Sara (Mardis) Maceyko. Greg attended Southmoreland High School and was self-employed as a professional carpet installer. Surviving are his children, son Gregory Ryan Maceyko and his companion Lillian Burns of Brownsville, and daughter Tiffany M Dykiel and her husband, Timmy of Springfield, VA. Also surviving is his longtime love for the last 22 years, Diana Hollis and his step-children, Tim Jialanella of McKeesport, Stephanie Hollis and Heather Hollis of Connellsville, Jessy Hollis of Mt. Pleasant and the grandchildren, Duron, Jace, Karma, Jasmine and Kasey. Survived by his sisters, Eileen I. Lisker and Wendy J. Maceyko, and his brother Allan R. Maceyko and wife Roberta (Pologruto) Maceyko all of Mt. Pleasant, his sister-in-law Sharon (Albaugh) Maceyko of Elton, PA and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rudolph A. Maceyko. Greg was a very hard working man and many of his customers also became his friends because of his magnetic, fun-loving personality. He enjoyed camping and river rafting in his spare time. There will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service is scheduled at the Mt. Pleasant Church of God on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 am.
