George Frank Ansell III, 70 of Dawson passed away at 10:46 PM Sunday, August 23, 2020 at his residence.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Frank was born August 2, 1950 in Connellsville, a son of the late George Frank and Joanne (Heinbaugh) Ansell. He married Carol Thomas Ansell on November 9, 2019.
Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was employed for many years as a pipe fitter with US Steel and years ago served as a funeral service assistant at the Ralph Galley Funeral Home in Dawson. More recently he drove a school van for the Head Start Program. He was a graduate of Connellsville High School, Class of 1968 and enjoyed watching movies and playing dartball.
Frank will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife, Carol Thomas Ansell; his two sons, Jeffrey and George Frank Ansell; his six grandchildren; his step-daughter, Lisa Morgan and her husband, Brett; his step-son, Brian Thomas; his eight step-grandchildren; his five step great-grandchildren; his two brothers, Charles Ansell and his wife Kathy of South Connellsville and Randy Ansell of Ohio; his lap cat, Baby; and his best friend, Ray Torrence.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH E. GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (724-529-2611 / www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 1-8 PM Wednesday and from 11 AM - 1 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday with Pastors David McElroy and William Nicholson co-officiating. Chapel committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Bullskin Township. Love Lasts Forever!
