Fred D. Roadman Jr., 67, of Scottdale, passed away at 5:11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at his residence.

Fred was born July 23, 1954, in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late Fred D. and Ethel M. (Santamyer) Roadman. He married Norma J. (Daniels) Roadman on Feb. 12, 1988.

Fred was a devoted husband and a volunteer member of the fire police with the South Connellsville Volunteer Fire Department. He also served in that capacity in the Harrisburg area. Years ago, he was employed at the Wyano Foundry.

Fred will be sadly missed his loving family; his wife of 33 years, Norma J. (Daniels) Roadman; his six step-children, David Shultz and wife Melissa, Crystal Swank and husband Ronald, April Breneman and husband Damian, Krystle Warren, Lila Burkholder, and Josh Frey; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and his brother, Larry Roadman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two stepsons,

Barnaby Shultz and George Dillinger; and his brother, Harold Roadman.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE ( www.fergusonfunerals.com ).

Family and friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. Friday with Pastor Joe Wingrove officiating.
