Fred E. Lee III, 77

of Mount Pleasant (Bullskin Township) passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at his residence. Fred was born June 4, 1947 in Petersburg, VA, a son of the late Fred E. Lee Jr. and Matilda G. (Glassburn) Lee. He married Linda C. (Ringer) Lee on May 3, 1969.

Fred was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A graduate of Connellsville Area High School Class of 1965, he was employed as an engineer with CSX Railroad for 40 years. Fred also previously served in the Army Reserves and as Fire Chief with the South Connellsville Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed his grandchildren and hunting, especially trips to the family's Greene County Camp.

Fred will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 55 years, Linda C. (Ringer) Lee; his children, Traci Lee, Christopher Lee and wife Tia, Jonathan Lee and wife Beth, and Jennifer Thomas; his grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, and Jackson Lee; his two sisters, Ora Lee and Jennie Licciardi; his special niece, Daryn Creuder; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, James and Eric Lee.

Family and friends will be received from 2-8 PM Monday and from 10-11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday with Pastor Tim Auer officiating.
