Frank E. Suter , 8 5 , of Ruffs D ale, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 23 , 20 23.  Gene was born August 10 , 19 37 , in East Huntingdon Township, a son of the late Quintin and Margaret Sherbondy Suter. Gene was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a long - time dairy farmer in East Huntingdon Township, working the family farm and helping with milk hauling . Gene enjoyed farming, gardening, traveling, the beach, and especially spending time with his loving family.  Gene will be sadly missed by his devoted family; his wife of 5 5 years, Martha R . Hutchison Suter; his four children, Michelle L . Klingensmith and husband , Ken , of Jeannette , Edward O . Suter and wife , Kelly , of Ruffs Dale , Melissa J Fulton and fiancé, Brian , of Fort Worth, TX , and Melinda J. Gisczinski and husband, Tom , of Smock ; nine grandchildren, Stacy Allott (Steve) , Andrew Klingensmith (Daynna), Lisa Klingensmith, Tammy Jones, Ashley Fulton, Rebecca Fulton, T . J. Gisczinski (Victoria), Travis Suter, and Emily Suter ; five great grandchildren; his brother Joel Suter ; sister - in-law E leanor Suter ; numerous nieces and nephews . In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Quintin (Sara), Don ald , Marjorie (Richard) , Frances (George) , Shirley , and sister - in-law Reta.
