Ford W. Lowry III, 45 of Connellsville (formerly of Dawson), passed away at 2:14 PM Friday, February 10, 2023 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh surrounded by his loving family. Ford was born November 13, 1977 in Mount Pleasant, a son of Susan J. (Pringle) Claycomb and husband Randy.
Ford was a devoted son, father and brother. He graduated from Connellsville High School, Class of 1995, received an Associate Degree from the Hiram G. Andrews Center in Johnstown, and was a graduate from Penn State University with a BS Degree in Psychology. Ford also studied at the University of Pittsburgh in the Masters Degree program. He served as an accountant for many years and worked assisting those with disabilities. Ford was an avid sports fan of the Miami Dolphins, LA Lakers, and all the Pittsburgh sports teams! He also enjoyed collecting sports trading cards, especially Kobe Bryant.
Ford will be sadly missed by his loving family; his mother, Susan J. (Pringle) Claycomb and her husband Randy; his daughters, Jayde Lowry and Paige Lowry; and his brother, Brett Claycomb all of Dawson. He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Harold and Jane (Morgan) Pringle; his paternal grandparents, Don and Evelyn (Conn) Claycomb; and his paternal grandfather, Ford W. Lowry Sr.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday and 10-11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday with Pastor Rick Goodwin officiating. Graveside committal service and interment will be in Cochran Cemetery. Memorial donations to assist the family can be offered to the funeral home. Love Lasts Forever!
