Evelyn M. Frick, 86, of Scottdale passed away at 5:22 p.m. Monday Jan. 3, 2022, at her residence. Evelyn was born Jan. 16, 1935, in Smithton, a daughter of the late William A. and Dora V. (Pearce) Lebe. She was married to Donald W. Frick, who passed away January 24, 2005. Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a graduate of South Huntingdon High School, Class of 1953, and worked at the Mennonite Publishing House in Scottdale for 26 years in the janitorial department. She took pleasure in baking, crocheting, making handmade gifts and drawing. She also enjoyed her special feline friend, Kitty! Evelyn will be sadly missed by her loving family: her three children, Patricia A. Weaver and husband, Kenneth Alan, of Scottdale, William Frick and wife, Linda, of Mt. Pleasant, and James D. Frick and fiance, Anita, of Scottdale; her five grandchildren, Julianne Kalp (Eric), Adam Frick (Danielle), Cody Frick (Katie), Justin Frick and Andrew Frick; her four great- grandchildren, Levi, Claire and Adalind Kalp and Tyler Frick; her sister, Genevieve Steiner, of Scottdale; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dolores Ceidro; and her brother, Robert Lebe. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor David Greer officiating.
