Ethel Marie (Bauer) Tamblyn, 86 of Scottdale was called to her Heavenly Father at 7:15 PM on March 17, 2024. She was born on September 4, 1937 in Cascade, Preston County, WV, a daughter of the late John and Ella (Yezak) Bauer. She was married to Ronald E. Tamblyn, who passed away in February, 2014.

Ethel is survived by her brother, Walter Bauer; her devoted sister-in-law, Dolores Glowacki; her three goddaughters, Kim Genova of North Carolina, Judy Wiltrout of Scottdale, and Saundra Bloom of Connellsville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her loving husband, She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Elenor Ruffo, Gladys Jones, and Catherine Detwiler; and her four brothers, John Jr., Thomas, Joseph and Francis Bauer.

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM Saturday, April 20, 2024 in the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Scottdale with the Very Rev. Paul A.
