Ernest F. "Ernie" King Jr., 68, of Murrysville, passed away at 1:46 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, in the Murrysville Rehab & Wellness Center, Murrysville. Ernie was born Oct. 12, 1953, in Charleston, W.Va., a son of the late Ernest F. King Sr. and Irene (Lipford) King. Ernie was formerly employed in the maintenance department at the regional VA hospital. A veteran of the Navy, he served as an adjunct third class during the Vietnam War. Ernie will be sadly missed by his loving family; his daughter, Michele Kindelberger and husband, Edwin, of Greensburg; his grandsons, Nicklaus Kindelberger, of Greensburg, and Steven Kindelberger, of Halifax, Mass.; and his nephews, Mark King, Dale King, BJ King and Scott King, of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Debera A. (Livingston) King, of Dawson; his son, Ernie King, of Greensburg; his sister, Mary Ellen Vickers, of Yawkey, W.Va.; and his brother, Richard M. King.
