Erica L. Thompson-Norcera, 42, of Uniontown, formerly of Scottdale, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Erica was born Dec. 26, 1972, in Greensburg, a daughter of Michael Patrick Thompson, of Monroeville, and Vanessa Ann (Weltz) Miller and her, husband, Bruce, of Jeannette. Erica was a loving daughter, granddaughter, mother and sister. She was employed as a licensed real estate agent, working with Northwood Realty in the Ligonier area. A graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1990, she also earned an associate business degree from Duquesne University. Erica was an active member of the New Hope Alliance Church in Scottdale and enjoyed spending time with her family. Erica will be sadly missed by her four children, Jacob Stoner and Noah Sager, of Scottdale, and Johnathon and Emma Sager, of Ruffs Dale; her parents, Michael Patrick Thompson, of Monroeville, and Vanessa Ann (Weltz) Miller and her husband, Bruce, of Jeannette; her maternal grandfather, John G. Weltz and his wife, Dianna, of Greensburg; her two sisters, Angela Keefer, of Hunker, and Samantha Dull, of Greensburg; her stepbrother, Jason Miller; her stepsister, Melissa Stewart and her husband, Chuck; and several nieces and nephews.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Neil Stevens officiating.
