Ellen Marie Fox's Obituary
Ellen Marie (Hough) Fox, 90, of Ruffsdale (East Huntingdon Township), passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at her residence. Ellen was born July 8, 1928, in Ruffsdale, a daughter of the late Robert T. and Winifred (Null) Hough, who passed away Aug. 9, 2002, and Aug., 12, 1998, respectively. She was married to David B. Fox, who died May 27, 2004. Ellen was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a faithful and active member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, where she served as the church pianist. Ellen enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening. Ellen will be sadly missed by her loving family; her two sons, Ronald L. Fox and Kevin D. Fox, both of Wilmington, Del.; her three grandchildren, Jason D. Fox, Rae M. Hughes and Brandon D. Fox; her five great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Margaret Roble, Joan McIntyre, Gene, Richard, Walter and Philip Hough; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Edwin D. Fox; and her brother, James Hough.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale, ( 724-887-5300 , www.fergusonfunerals.com ., GPS: N40 degrees 06.136, W79 degrees 35.278). Family and friends will be received from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Roy Butt officiating. Graveside committal service and interment next to her late husband will follow in Barren Run Cemetery.
