Elizabeth L. "Bette" Lambing, 84, of Alverton, passed away at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021, at her residence. Bette was born Jan. 31, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Hinzman) Greenawalt. She was married to Edgar Lambing who passed away on Jan. 23, 2002.

Bette was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She graduated from Ramsay High School and enjoyed wood crafts. Bette was a true animal lover, caring for cats and feeding the birds!

Bette will be sadly missed by her loving family; her two sons, Edward Lambing and wife Jodi and Stephen Lambing, all of Alverton; her five grandchildren, Jamie, Cory, Zack, Lyssa, and Maddison; her seven great-grandchildren, Alexander, Grace, Jonah, Kinsley, Emma, Maggie, and Lainey; her two sisters, Jean Raygor of Scottdale and Audrey Lantzer of Killbuck, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Arlene Ramage of Connellsville.
