Obituary

E. Wayne Felgar, age 81, of Connellsville Pa, passed away peacefully Friday evening April 17, 2026 surrounded by his Loving family, after a brief battle with cancer. Born on May 31, 1944, in Scottdale, Pa. Wayne lived a life defined by hard work, deep devotion to his family, and the friendships he cherished throughout his life.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Mason Felgar and John Ferner Felgar; his beloved daughter, Caline, who passed in 2020; and his sisters, Genevieve Suttle and Bonnell Suttle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Felgar (Povlik), with whom he shared many years of love, partnership, and memories. Wayne was a devoted father to his daughters, Candace Dumond and her husband EJ, and Caprice Mills and her husband Gregory. He was a proud grandfather to Casey Wineland and her husband Zachary; Alexandria Torock and her husband Cody; and Christopher and Jonathan Dumond. Wayne was also a cherished great-grandfather to Avery Wineland, Anna Torock, Charlotte Torock, and Kashlynn Torock, who brought him tremendous joy.

Wayne is also survived by his brother, Roy Felgar and wife Sally of Dubois Pa, as well as his mother-in-law, Phyllis Povlik; Sally’s many brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Wayne spent his entire career in the automotive industry, a profession he truly loved, and he continued working up until his passing—a reflection of his strong work ethic and dedication. Above all else, Wayne was a family man. He found his greatest happiness in supporting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, proudly attending as many softball, baseball, and hockey games as possible and cheering them on from the stands.

Wayne was blessed with many close friendships and will be deeply missed by his dear friends Ed, “Squirrel,” George, Hal, Scott, Gene, and Marion (“Babe”) recently passed, who shared years of laughter, loyalty, and unforgettable memories with him.

Wayne was truly well loved by all who knew him. His kindness, dependability, and unwavering presence left a lasting impact on everyone, fortunate enough to be part of his life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (http://www.fergusonfunerals.com). At his request there will be no viewing or service. Memorials can be made to a charity if one’s choice. Love Lasts Forever!
