Duane L. Stamm, 94, of Scottdale, passed away at 8:59 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2024, in Easy Living Estates Personal Care Home, New Stanton. He was born Jan. 11, 1930, in Scottdale, a son of the late George and Florence (Wilkinson) Stamm. Duane married Sylvia J. (Reefer) Stamm on Sept. 26, 1982. She survives him and resides in Scottdale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Duane was retired from U.S. Steel, where he was employed for 39 years in the tractor shop. He was a faithful and longtime member of Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scottdale and a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Duane was a noted vintage car enthusiast.
