Douglas J. Smith, 61

of Scottdale passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 in Independence Health System's Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Doug was born July 5, 1962 in Wilber, a son of the late Dorald and Nancy (Dolan) Smith.

He married Cynthia M. "Cindy" (Rudnik) Smith on July 11, 1988.

Doug was a graduate of Belle Vernon

High School, Class of 1982 and was employed as a supervisor at the former Williamhouse Company.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed rooting for Pittsburgh sports teams.

Doug will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 35 years, Cynthia M. "Cindy " (Rudnik) Smith; his brothers, Jeff and Mark Smith; and his uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother Dorald Smith Jr.
