Douglas R. King, 65 of RuffsDale passed away at 10:18 AM Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Doug was born June 21, 1956 in Connellsville, a son of Donna Eileen (Gath) King and the late Gerald H. King, who passed away on August 28, 2020. Doug married Lena Marie (DelGrosso) King on January 3, 1987.

Doug was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. He was the co-owner of the family business, Gerald King Lumber Company where he worked, along side his father for many years as a truck driver. He graduated from Yough High School, Class of 1974 and along with his wife, were members of the Word of Life Church in Greensburg and also worshipped at the Grandview Church of God. Doug loved camping and was an avid car enthusiast of classic and hot rod cars.

Doug will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 35 years, Lena Marie (DelGrosso) King; his mother, Donna Eileen (Gath) King of RuffsDale; his six children, John Migliozzi (Tracy), Michael Migliozzi, Halie Rose King, Michael King (Amanda), Leslie Morton (Josh), and Brad King (Nicole); his 11 grandchildren; his great granddaughter; his sister, Debbie D. Comer and husband John "JC" of Smithton; his brother, Gregory W. "Shorty" King and wife Pamela of Smithton; his brother-in-law, Frank DelGrosso and wife Karen of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends!

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 2-8 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel where parting prayers will be provided by Terry Timko at 8 PM. A memorial dinner will be held at 2 PM Sunday in the Grandview Church of God social hall (144 State Hill Road, Smithton, PA 15479).
