Donna Joanne (Hlafcsak) Johnson, 61 of New Stanton, passed away at 7:43 PM Friday, October 9, 2020 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Donna was born October 3, 1959 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late William Joseph Hlafcsak and Joanne Pauline Kosor.

Donna was a free spirit and fun-loving sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was retired from Westmoreland Intermediate Unit #7, where she was employed as a supervisor of special education. She was also a former special education instructor with both Monessen and Hempfield school districts. Donna was a graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1977, received her BS degree and her Masters degree from California State University and from Gannon University, which included advanced supervisor certification papers and superintendent letters of eligibility.

Donna will be sadly missed by by her loving family; her two sisters, Barb Szabo of Smithton and Rhonda Griffiths of Sarasota, FL and their families.
