Donald E. Swank, 66, of Scottdale, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021, at his residence. Don was born March 14, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late James and Elsie (Seehoffer) Swank. He married Susan Ann (McKenzie) Swank June 30, 1991. Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He was employed as an assistant manager at Shop 'n Save Grocery on Route 66, Greensburg, for many years and was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Scottdale. He enjoyed fishing, attending auctions and flea markets, watching TV and spending time with his grandchildren. Don will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 29 years, Susan Ann (McKenzie) Swank; his five children, Donald Swank and wife, Ashley, of Scottdale, Michael Swank, of Mt. Pleasant, Bo Swank, of Scottdale, Tiffany Frost and husband, John, of Georgia, and Eric Swank, of Connellsville, his 15 grandchildren; his numerous great-grandchildren; his siblings, Ronald and Harold Swank, of Dawson, James Swank, of Florida, Betty Leasure, of New Derry, and Gwen Kersten, of Dubois; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Ann and Janet Louise Swank; and his brother, William Swank.
