Pastor Domer L. Snyder, 73 of Scottdale, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Domer was born April 7, 1945 in Scottdale, a son of the late Charles Domer and Eleanor June (Stenger) Snyder. He married Betty (Hostetler) Snyder on August 22, 1970.

Pastor Domer was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He served the Lord as Pastor for over 50 years, most recently at the First Assembly of God Church in Scottdale.

Pastor Domer will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 48 years, Betty (Hostetler) Snyder; his two daughters, Deborah Nicole Howes and her husband, Calvin Keith Howes of Brownsville and Rebecca Diona Luker and her husband, Jonathan Robert Luker of Scottdale; and his two grandchildren, Alexis Maria and Calvin Joshua Howes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Lee Williams.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (724-887-5300). Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Additional viewing will be held from 10-11 AM Wednesday in the First Assembly of God Church, Elm & Jennings Avenue, Scottdale where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday with Pastors Shawn Lyons and Roger Richter co-officiating. Chapel committal services and interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Love Lasts Forever!
