December 4, 1947 – February 24, 2022
Dennis "Denny" Rudolph Martucci, 74 of Carlisle passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Dennis was born December 4, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late Rudolph Valentino Martucci and Norma Ruth Campbell Martucci. He married Susan (McKnight) Martucci on March 12, 1966.
Dennis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was employed for 25 years as an Electrician and Maintenance Manager with Harley-Davidson, York, PA. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Carlisle and served in many capacites as a board member, facility maintenance volunteer and Sunday School teacher. He was a Scottdale Fireman and an Emergency Medical Technician, and an EMS chaplain, and also served his country as a member of the US Naval Reserve.
He enjoyed: Reading (especially American history), his model train layout, watching Cleveland Indians baseball, playing cards with his family, riding his bike through Carlisle, working with the Carlisle Car Show events, and taking his family to Virginia Beach for a week together each year.
Dennis will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 55 years, Susan McKnight Martucci; his two sons: Bryan E. (Jodi) Martucci, Vanderbilt, PA and Michael D. (Sharon) Martucci, Ballston Spa, NY; his grandchildren: Sara E. (Cuong Huynh) Martucci of Austin, TX , Lucas B. Martucci of Pittsburgh and Cannon D. Martucci of Glenville, NY; and his siblings:Denise L. Martucci Benack of Clairton, PA and Darlene N. Martucci Jordan of Hummelstown, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his yougest grandson, Deacon M. Martucci in August 2018.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET , SCOTTDALE ( http://www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received for visitation from 10:30 AM-1:30 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel followed by funeral services at 1:30 PM Saturday with Pastor Jason Lamer officiating. Final resting place will be in St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Connellsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bethel Assembly of God Church, 1412 Holly Pike, Carlisle, PA 17015 ; or Community Cares Emergency Shelter, 50 W. Penn St., Carlisle, PA 17013 .
