Denise Marie "Dee Dee" Kukonik, 51, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Dee Dee was born July 31, 1968, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Ruthann A. (Myers) Buschel, of Alverton, and the late Ronald J. Buschel Sr. Dee Dee was a licensed cosmetologist and worked as a manager and beautician at Fantastic Sam's in Hempfield Township. Years ago, she worshipped at the Alverton United Methodist Church and enjoyed attending concerts and playing softball. Dee Dee will be sadly missed by her three sons, Harvey Bruce Clark III and his wife, Melissa, of Connellsville, John K. Kukonik II, of West Newton, and Michael "Mike" Kukonik, of North Huntingdon, and John and Mike's father, John K. Kukonik, of North Huntingdon; her three grandchildren, Brandon Owen, Star M. Clark and Dash B. Clark; her two brothers, Ronald Joseph Buschel Jr., of Alverton, and Chad Evans Buschel and his wife, Brandy, of Greensburg; and her niece, Cassandra Buschel.
