Debra Lee Wingard, 66 of Connellsville died peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2024 following a brief illness at Independence Health System's Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was surrounded by loved ones and dear friends. She was born August 26, 1957, a daughter of the late William and Martha (Schroyer) Bielstein. Debra was a resident of Connellsville for the past 17 years. She worked at Somerset Hospital for many years prior to an early retirement. Debra wore many hats throughout her life, including wife, mother, daughter, aunt, and sister; but the one that brought her the most joy was Grandmother. Another hat she wore was one that she probably crocheted. Debbie was a master crochet artist, although she would never admit it, and was always working on projects to gift to family and friends!

Debbie will be sadly missed, but held dear by her husband, Butch of Connellsville; her children, Shawn (Elizabeth) of Pasadena, MD, Amanda Wingard-Smith (Bryan) of West Newton, and Rebecca Watkins (Jason) of Mount Pleasant all of her "babies": Elliot Katie, Tucker, Emma, Jack, and Abby , who she loved so dearly; her sisters, Sue, Kay, Bonnie, Holly, and Ruth will continue to hold Debbie in their hearts.
