Deanna Mae (Huffman) Perkey, 77

of Tarrs (East Huntingdon Township) passed away at 12:30 pm Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in Independence Health System's Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Deanna was born May 9, 1947 in RuffsDale, a daughter of the late Harry Robert and Florence (Steshoski) Huffman. She married John H. Perkey on May 31, 1980, and he survives her.

Deanna was co-owner along with her husband of Perkey Farms, Alverton and a faithful member of the former Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church in Tarrs. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, playing cards, and bird watching.

Deanna will be sadly missed by her loving family; her husband of 44 years, John H. Perkey; her four children, Jeffrey Echols of Tarrs, Lisa Davis of Lidowici, GA, Tiffany Beltz and husband Gerald of Tarrs, and Robert Perkey and wife Amanda of Mount Pleasant; her 13 grandchildren; her 13 great grandchildren; her three great-great grandchildren; her brother, Ronald Huffman and his wife Marilyn of Mount Pleasant; her sister, Linda Harper and husband Vaughn of Tennessee; her special niece, Sandy Geiger and her husband David & family; and several other nieces and nephews.

At the request of the decedent, there will be no viewing. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
