David Michael Corley,

57 of Scottdale passed away at 3 AM Tuesday, September 8, 2026 in Independence Health System’s Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Dave was born on July 21, 1969 in Mount Pleasant , a son of Carol Ann (Chernitsky) Corley and the late Robert Lee Corley Sr., who passed away in 2021.

Dave was a graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1988 and worked for years in the construction field. He was a member of Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant and enjoyed fishing and playing baseball years ago. He was also an avid fan of the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. He loved his loyal dog, Frisky.

Dave will be sadly missed by his loving family; his mother, Carol Ann (Chernitsky) Corley; his brother, Robert Lee “Bob” Corley Jr.; and his nieces, Brooke and Sierra Corley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his half brother,

Matthew Corley; his maternal grandparents, Rudolph “Rudy” and Barbara “Jean” (Proud) Chernitsky; and his paternal grandparents, Williams “Bill” and Thelma (Stoner) Corley.
