Darlene Joy (Livingston) Fisher, 55, of Scottdale (formerly of Dawson), passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, with her loving family at her side.
Darlene was born Sept. 11, 1961, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Harry Livingston Sr. and Virginia (Murtland) Livingston.
Darlene was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She graduated from Frazier High School with the Class of 1979 and was a valued and loved employee at WalMart in Mt. Pleasant, where she worked as an associate, for 18 years. She enjoyed spending time with her loving granddaughter and will be sadly missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
Darlene is survived by her loving family; her son, Christopher W. Fisher and his wife Melanie of Fayette City; her granddaughter, Morgan Fisher; and her two sisters, Louella (Livingston) Fuller of Scottdale and Joanne (Livingston) Goldberg and her husband Howard of South Connellsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debra "Debbie" King and her brother, Harry Livingston Jr.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring St., Scottdale. Family and friends will be received from 1-5 p.m. Saturday and from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, the hour of service, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Ed Sutton, pastor of the Bryan United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be private.
