Darle P. "Butch" Harshman, 65

of Scottdale (East Huntingdon Township) passed away at 1:03 AM Thursday, April 11, 2024 in Independence Health System's Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Butch was born May 20, 1958 in Mount Pleqsant a son of Dianna G. (Baumann) Harshman of Acme and the late Robert W. Harshman who passed away on July 20, 2023. He married Madeline Kathie (Boyd) Harshman on March 11, 2006.

Butch was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He was also employed by Crowley Marine Services as a Chief Cook out of Seattle Washington for nearly 20 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle,  hiking, fishing, and knife collecting. Years ago, Butch was employed as a maintenance supervisor with West Overton Museums. He was a veteran serving in the US Navy during peacetime.

Butch will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife, Madeline Kathie (Boyd) Harshman; His mother, Dianna G. (Baumann) Harshman;

his Children, Zebulan Harshman,

Braxton Harshman ( wife Sharyla), Karmyn Danan, Jennifer Fijalka, and Bethany Harshman; his Granddaughters Chloe Blaylock Taylor and Charlotte Yeany Harshman; His siblings: Vicki Harshman Horner, Tracey Naugle and husband, Brian, and Michele Harshman, all of Acme; his Neice Lizzy Brown, nephews Eric Harshman,  Brandon Harshman and Charlie Shandorf and his Aunt Frances Siwula, and a neice Cortney Baker.
