Daniel "Boone" Clifford Timms, 59, of Vanderbilt, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, at his residence.

Boone was born March 6, 1959, in Connellsville, a son of the late Nelson and Twila (Jolly) Timms.

Boone retired as a cement truck driver at Universal Ready Mix in Dawson after working for 20 years as an over-the-road, long-haul truck driver. He graduated from Uniontown High School prior to receiving his CDL.

Boone will be sadly missed by his loving family: his two sons, Zachary Bennett and wife Tara of Dickerson Run, and Issac Timms and his wife Traci of Dravosburg; his daughter, Chelsey Timms and boyfriend Sam Salatino of Connellsville; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and his siblings, Donnie Timms and wife Judy, David Timms and wife Bonnie, Dale Timms and wife Karen, Delbert Timms and companion Debbie Baker, and Darlene Pehl and husband Tim, all of Vanderbilt.

Family and friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, in the funeral home chapel. A memorial meal will follow in Vanderbilt United Methodist Church for family and friends.
