Craig Alan McKnight, 52 of Dawson passed away peacefully at 9:12 AM Thursday, November 16, 2023 in Somerset Area Hospital, Somerset. Craig was born May 1, 1971 in Connellsville, a son of the James and Corrine (Cremers) McKnight of Dawson.

In addition to his parents, Craig will be sadly missed by his longtime partner, Jessica Paquette; his two sons, Benjamin Bielstein and Craig James McKnight; his paternal grandmother, Mary Lois McKnight; his two brothers, Brian McKnight and wife Judith and Steve McKnight and wife Rebecca; his sister, Monica Argot and husband Jay; and his niece and three nephews.

Craig graduated from Connellsville Area High School, Class of 1989 and the PA Culinary Arts School of Pittsburgh in 1992. Presently, he served as Chef for Helen's Restaurant at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, which was a lifelong dream when he started his cooking career. He started his cooking career at Linden Hall in Dawson where he was an amazing chef and also loved to prepare meals for his family! Craig enjoyed finding cool and unique old artifacts through his pastime of metal detecting in his spare time.

Immaculate Conception RC Church

Connellsville followed by Funeral Mass at 10 AM with Rev. Father Edwin Rubio as celebrant.

Interment will be in Cochran Cemetery, Dawson. Love Lasts Forever!
