Charles W. Lane, 92

of Scottdale passed away at 6:51 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2026 in Easy Living Estates, Hunker where he had been a resident for the past 15 months. Charles was born on December 26, 1933 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Dr. Paul and Ruth (Sterner) Lane. He married the former Sally A. Myers on January 11, 1956 and she survives him.

Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a graduate of Coraopolis High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He was employed as a Manager with Westinghouse and enjoyed collecting antique clocks and playing golf with the Rebel Golf League. A veteran of the US Air Force, he served as an Airman 2nd Class in the 4600th Support Squadron from 1956-1960.

Charles will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 70 years, Sally A. (Myers) Lane; his two daughters, Shirley Morgan and husband Robert “Red” and Diana Skovira and husband Michael, all of Scottdale; his five grandchildren, Jessica Fend and husband Joshua, Joshua Morgan and wife Meghan, Rebecca Barron and husband Nick, Pamela Peretic and husband Joel, and Tanner Skovira; his 14 great grandchildren; and his beloved cat, Dawn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Lane.
